TAILOR MADE PRIVATE TOURS

Tailor made tours can be organized for any date, any number of participants and can have any itinerary. You can either use our itineraries (which are designed with our own expertise and experience) or you can establish your own itinerary according to your preferences and expectations. However, we will always make suggestions and warnings in case we believe that the itinerary you created is not applicable or is carrying risks.

We can not give seperate price for some services because they can not be rendered separately. Some groups and individuals are requesting basic services without any guiding. This is just impossible in Mount Ararat and all Eastern Anatolia. There are many reasons:

1) Firstly, Mount Ararat generates its own weather conditions; it is not wise to depend on weather forecasts. Every year several deaths have been recorded due to weather conditions. In our tours, all Anatolian Adventures guides are professional mountaineers and they have extensive knowledge about trekking, climbing, safety equipments, first aid and navigation. 2) Even if you have a mountain guide, additionally you have to take a special guide called 'Mihmandar' who is licensed by Mountain Federation of Turkey. In our tours, we hire "mihmandar" too, but regardless of their experience, the decisions are always taken by the Anatolian Adventures professional guides.

3) Another reason why you should take a guide is, in remote regions like Eastern Anatolia, having good connections with locals as well as having strong business partners is very important. Anatolian Adventures is an official tour operator and licensed travel agency, and all our guides have been working in the region for a long time. This enables us to use our connections both locally and officially. You will not be alone in the region.

4) Finally, it is our strong recommendation that you join a group arranged by a TURSAB licensed travel company. The government officials are also looking more kindly on individuals applying through a licensed travel agency. Because Mount Ararat requires special permit and special visa from its visitors, all paperwork will be done by an official agency, and governmental procedure would be accomplished fastly and properly.

In comparison with our standard tours, the private tours may be more expensive even if they have same itinerary. The price of a private tour per person strongly depends on number of people in your party and the season.
