9-DAYS SKI TOURING IN HASAN, ERCIYES & TAURUS MOUNTAINS

ITINERARY

Day 1: Welcome to Ankara the capital city of Turkey. Transfer to your hotel for briefing, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast, we will drive to Aksaray city / Helvadere village, and we will have dinner and overnight in the pension (2200m) and rest for the next day’s ski ascent to Mount Hasan. 3258m / 10688 ft.

Day 3: Ski ascent with a gentle slope, straight forward to the summit of Mount Hasan. If the weather permits, you will be able to see the Taurus Mountains / Aladaglar range and Mount Erciyes from the top. After ski descend from the summit, we will drive to the Taurus mountains for dinner and overnight in a hut. Mt. Hasan total elevation gain 1058 to summit.

Day 4: We will drive to the Sokulupinar region to enter the valley and ski up from the forest to reach to Celikbuyduran pass at 3400m. We will descend from the great slopes towards Karayalak Valley. Dinner and overnight in Demirkazik hut. Sokullupinar to Celikbuyduran total elevation gain 1400m.

Day 5: After breakfast we drive to the Narpuz valley to ski up to the pass before starting a great ski ascent from Cimbar canyon. Dinner and overnight in the same hut. Narpuz Valley total elevation gain 1200m.

Day 6: After breakfast we head towards the Emli Valley-Kucuk Mangirci Valley- Alaca Plateau. Ski touring in Taurus Mountains will finish descending from the Buyuk Mangirci Valley. Late in the afternoon we will drive to the Mount Erciyes (3916m) 20 km south of Kayseri city. Dinner and overnight in the hut at 2200m. Alaca Plateau total elevation fain 1200m.

Day 7: Ski ascent to the summit of Mt.Erciyes 12850 ft. / 3916m. After viewing the Taurus Mountains and Mt Hasan from the summit, we will transfer to Cappadoccia, the land of beautiful horses for dinner and overnight in hotel. Erciyes mountain hut to summit elevation gain 1716m.

Day 8: After breakfast full day cultural excursion in Cappadoccia covering, Devrent Valley to see the unigue fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabag (Monk"s Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. We then will visit the wonderul Göreme openair museum with rock churches before lunch. Transfer to Ankara for dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 9: Transfer to Airport and End of our service.

Our tour starts from the capital city Ankara. Same day, we drive to Aksaray city/ Helvadere village by bus and overnight at pension in Aksaray. Next day we continue to Mount Hasan and then Taurus Mountains (Toros - Aladaglar Range). Having spent 3 nights at Taurus mountains in a hut, we continue to Kayseri city for Mount Erciyes.

Two high volcanic massifs Mt Erciyes (3916m) and Mt Hasan (3268m) emerged at the tertiary era in the heart of Central Anatolia dominating all the area. Today, they offer incomparable slopes to rise and to descend back on your skis to finish in beauty your ski touring raid. And, as a reward of your devoted effort, a splendid sight makes you enjoy the magic moment where you are finally at the summit.

As we finish our descending down with skis from Mount Erciyes, we head towards Cappadocia where we will see the magnificent fairy chimneys and red valleys that Mother Nature gave unique shapes. After spending two nights in Cappadoccia region we drive to Ankara for the end of services or continue with extension Turkey tours.
